Movement series, 2014-15
Digital intaglio print, acrylic frame
Each 10 x 10 x 1 inches; Installation dimensions vary

Movement Series is a physicalizes movement through space over 10 hours. Comprised of 1306 Individual paths, each interaction in the space is tracked. Dynamic motion is frozen into a complex network of interaction and interface.

The prints can be read analytically and chronologically with path density, direction, speed and time all embedded within 21 prints. As you walk along the prints, the viewer is challenged to follow a trace.

Movement was tracked on sheets of mylar that were digitized and lasercut into anodized aluminum plates. Prints were created directly from these plates, creating a form of digital intaglio prints.
